WhoWasWhen does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. The app is read-only and works entirely on your device.
None. The app has no accounts, no sign-in, and no analytics or tracking of any kind. It does not gather usage data, location, contacts, or device identifiers.
The historical database is bundled inside the app, so your searches are performed locally on your iPhone and are never sent anywhere.
The app only connects to the internet when you explicitly choose to open a Wikipedia link for a ruler or event. That request is handled by your browser and is governed by Wikimedia’s privacy policy. WhoWasWhen does not add any tracking to these requests.
If a future version stores an updated copy of the database in your own iCloud Drive, that data stays within your personal Apple account and is never accessible to the developer.
The app collects no data from anyone, including children.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page.
