Aeye does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data. It has no user account, no analytics, and no server of its own.
What Aeye does
Aeye reads the plan-usage figures of the Cursor and Anthropic (Claude) accounts you already have, and shows them as meters on your iPhone, in a widget, and on your Apple Watch. It is a viewer. It does not change anything in those accounts.
Data we collect
None. The developer receives no data from this app โ not usage figures, not identifiers, not crash reports, not analytics. There is no Aeye account to create and no Aeye server to send anything to.
Data stored on your device
| What | Where | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Cursor and Claude access and refresh tokens | iPhone Keychain | To request your usage figures and renew access without asking you to sign in again. Never copied to the Watch. |
| The most recent usage snapshot | App Group container on the iPhone; a copy on the Apple Watch | So the widget and the complications can show numbers without a network call, and the Watch can display the last known values when the iPhone is out of range. |
| Your row choices and display preferences | App Group container | To show the same rows across the app, the widget, and the Watch. |
All of it is removed when you delete the app.
Network connections
Aeye connects only to the services whose numbers it displays, over HTTPS, carrying your own credentials as authorization:
cursor.comandapi2.cursor.shโ Cursor sign-in and usage figuresclaude.ai,claude.com, andplatform.claude.comโ Claude sign-inapi.anthropic.comโ Claude usage figures
There are no other network calls: no third-party SDKs, no advertising networks, no telemetry endpoints. What those services do with the requests is governed by their own privacy policies.
Signing in
Sign-in happens in Safari, through each service's own login page, using the system's authentication session. Aeye never sees your password. Only the resulting token is returned to the app, and it goes straight into the iPhone Keychain.
Tracking
Aeye does not track you. It does not use the Advertising Identifier, does not build a profile, and shares nothing with data brokers or advertisers.
Children
Aeye is a developer utility with no social features and no user-generated content. It collects no data from anyone, including children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted on this page with a new date. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
